What is Sijilat?
Sijilat (سجلات) is the MOICT's online commercial registration portal. It handles CR applications, renewals, amendments, and cancellations. Accessible at sijilat.bh with eKey or SmartCard authentication.
Available Services
🆕 New CR Registration
Apply for a new commercial registration. Select entity type, activities (ISIC codes), and submit required documents online.
🔄 CR Renewal
Annual renewal before expiry date. Pay fees online (BD 30/year for sole proprietors, BD 300/year for WLL). Late renewal incurs penalties.
✏️ CR Amendments
Change trade name, add/remove activities, update shareholders, change registered address, or modify registered capital.
❌ CR Cancellation
Cancel CR when closing business. Requires clearance from GOSI, LMRA, and NBR. All dues must be settled before cancellation.
Common Issues & Tips
Apply for your eKey before starting. Processing takes 2-3 business days.
Combine multiple amendments into one request to save on fees and processing time.
Keep a certified copy of updated memorandum of association ready for WLL amendments.
Trade name changes require MOICT approval and may take up to 10 business days.
