Under Bahrain's AML framework (Law No. 4 of 2001, as amended), all commercial entities must maintain and file a beneficial ownership register with MOIC via the Sijilat portal. This aligns with FATF Recommendation 24.

Who is a Beneficial Owner?

Any natural person who ultimately owns or controls โ‰ฅ 20% of shares or voting rights

Any person who exercises effective control through other means (board control, agreements)

If no person qualifies above, the senior managing official shall be reported
